Senior Data Privacy Consultant (m/f/d)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Privacy Consultant to support our line of business in ensuring compliance with data protection regulations worldwide. The role works closely with Regional Data Protection Officers and drives privacy initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Regional DPOs in steering the DPO/DPP community, reporting and data‑protection maturity assessments.
• Support reporting activities and implementation of data‑protection projects such as PIA migration, Data Protection Maturity Assessment and quarterly reporting.
• Prepare for new laws and regulations, including AI‑related topics, and oversee related projects.
• Advise entities on personal data processing compliance, monitor local provisions, and deliver awareness‑raising and training.
• Provide guidance on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and monitor their performance.
• Manage regulatory monitoring, advisory services and harmonised data‑protection procedures within the Allianz framework.
• Identify and analyse key data‑protection risks, perform risk assessments and support remediation plans.
• Promote a “Data Protection by Design” mindset, develop standards, policies and training programmes.
• Assess the need for Privacy Champions, onboard them and coordinate the community.
• Support the Regional DPO in reporting, handle data‑subject rights inquiries, and manage data‑breach investigations in collaboration with Legal, Operations and Audit teams.
• Conduct Responsible AI assessments to ensure compliance with RAI principles.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of data‑protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, local privacy laws).
• Passion for data privacy and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work in a dynamic, global environment.
• Experience collaborating with DPOs, legal, audit and operational teams.
