Senior Executive - Fund Administration

About the role

Apex Group, a fund administration and middle office solutions provider founded in Bermuda in 2003, is hiring a Senior Executive. The role covers accounting, tax, statutory filings, document certification and client service, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain proper records in line with internal and legal requirements.
• Convene directors' and shareholders' meetings, prepare Board papers and verify minutes.
• Prepare accounts and tax computations, liaise with auditors and ensure final deliverables are accurate.
• Develop knowledge of each client's needs and complete certifications, notarisation, apostille and consularisation of documents on time.
• Maintain bank accounts, open new ones, initiate transfers and liaise with the bank.
• Deliver statutory accounts with all applicable disclosures and monitor day-to-day tasks.
• File annual returns, APS returns, PAYE, TDS, VAT and Indian tax returns on time, and handle tax queries from MRA, clients and other authorities.
• Effect statutory filings with FSC, ROC and other bodies, and carry out customer due diligence under the AML Code.
• Coordinate the work of team members.

Required profile

• 3-4 years of experience in the global business sector or an audit firm is an advantage.
• Degree, or substantially completed ACA or ACCA qualification or equivalent.
• Client service mindset, good written and spoken communication, and ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Organizational, interpersonal and time-management skills; quick learner who works well under pressure.
