Senior Fund Administrator – Private Equity

About the role

The Senior Fund Administrator will manage a portfolio of private‑equity funds, handling day‑to‑day administration and corporate secretarial duties with minimal supervision. You will act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring timely execution of transactions and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the lead contact for a portfolio of private‑equity clients.
• Execute all client transactions efficiently and on schedule.
• Assist in the set‑up and closing of closed‑end funds structured as companies, limited partnerships, CIS managers, or SPVs.
• Prepare and review capital calls, drawdown notices, and related corporate actions.
• Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely statutory filings.
• Draft and review written resolutions, board packs, and arrange board meetings.
• Process payment instructions in line with internal validation procedures.
• Support the fund accounting team during audits and sign‑off of financial statements.
• Liaise with regulators, banks, auditors and other service providers.
• Resolve client queries promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
• Coach and supervise junior fund administrators.
• Maintain accurate client records, time‑keeping and billing information.
• Ensure compliance with anti‑money‑laundering and KYC procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant field or ACCA/ICSA qualification.
• Minimum five years’ experience in fund administration or a related global business sector.
• Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks governing funds.
• Excellent interpersonal and client‑service skills.
