Senior Incident Management Analyst

About the role

The Senior Analyst – Incident Management will lead the initial assessment and notification of security incidents for Allianz entities worldwide. Working within the Global Incident Management (GIM) team in Mauritius, you will ensure a seamless end‑to‑end incident handling process until closure, supporting both regulatory and internal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor global risk signals 24/7, triage alerts and assess severity using defined thresholds.
• Perform initial incident assessments and promptly notify relevant stakeholders and leadership.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end incident management, assigning ownership and routing information to expert functions.
• Collaborate with global teams to resolve incidents efficiently and close them according to standards.
• Support proactive threat intelligence using advanced monitoring tools and diverse information sources.
• Prepare clear incident reports and executive summaries for leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Risk Management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in security monitoring, incident management or crisis coordination.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French; additional languages a plus.
• Ability to work rotating 24/7 shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Comfortable with cross‑cultural collaboration and virtual teamwork.

Required skills

• Incident triage and impact assessment.
• Advisory writing and documentation discipline.
• Use of monitoring platforms such as Dataminr and Everbridge.
• Case/ticketing system experience (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Data/reporting tools proficiency (Excel, Power BI).
• Basic geo/asset mapping and analytical capabilities.
