Senior Microsoft Security Consultant – Cybersecurity

About the role

EY Mauritius is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant with deep expertise in the Microsoft Security stack. You will lead client‑facing consulting engagements, design and implement security solutions, and mentor junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Microsoft Security consulting projects, from design to operational readiness.
• Assess client security architectures, develop roadmaps, and recommend solutions aligned with Zero Trust principles.
• Design and implement solutions using Microsoft Defender (XDR), Entra ID, Intune, and Purview (data classification, DLP, governance, etc.).
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure secure‑by‑design Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Enable DevSecOps by embedding security controls into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub) and automating compliance checks.
• Provide security guidance for Microsoft Fabric and analytics workloads.
• Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and executive‑level security posture reports.
• Contribute to proposals, estimations, and reusable practice accelerators.
• Mentor junior consultants and promote knowledge sharing within the Microsoft Security practice.

Required profile

• Several years of experience delivering Microsoft security solutions in a consulting environment.
• Strong advisory and solution‑architecture skills with a focus on Zero Trust.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior consultants.
