Senior Relationship Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to lead a team of Relationship Managers and Executives within our External Asset Managers & Financial Intermediaries division. The role focuses on developing and deepening relationships with investment professionals, high‑net‑worth clients, and institutional partners across Mauritius and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and strengthen relationships with asset managers, fund managers, family offices and fiduciaries, anticipating their evolving needs.
• Lead a geographical cluster team, driving portfolio growth, target achievement and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with local stakeholders, overseas subsidiaries and representative offices to source new business opportunities and structure deals.
• Assist in preparing the SBU strategic plan, budget and forecasts, ensuring timely submission.
• Conduct first‑level appraisal of prospective customers or deals, gathering required documentation for risk assessment.
• Ensure high quality of work, prevent re‑works and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Manage credit portfolio in line with MCB credit policies to mitigate financial risk.
• Leverage analytics from relevant teams to identify opportunities and improve service delivery.
