Senior Software Developer

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join its Technology Consulting practice. You will design, develop, and support enterprise‑grade applications for global clients, delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions while working with the latest technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET.NET Core/MVC) and Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Build responsive user interfaces with Bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, React, and Angular.
• Create and support integrations with client systems such as HR and payroll platforms.
• Write, optimise, and tune complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to clean‑code and SOLID principles.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and manage source control using Git/Azure DevOps.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a quality‑first mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Proven experience in client‑facing roles, handling conversations independently.
• Ability to take ownership of complex technical matters and deliver under tight timelines.
