About the role
The Server (Waiter/Waitress) will take orders and serve food and beverages to guests across multiple outlets at the Four Seasons resort in Mauritius, ensuring guest satisfaction and a perfect service experience.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare mise‑en‑place, set up and clear tables, sunbeds and work areas while maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Take orders, serve and, where applicable, prepare food and beverages in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.
- Promote hotel services and products, describe menu items with vivid descriptions, and anticipate guest needs.
- Handle guest checks, process payments and follow control procedures accurately.
- Assist colleagues across different Food & Beverage outlets as needed, including restaurants, bars, pool, beach and private venues.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of relevant experience in 5‑star hotels, resorts or reputable standalone restaurants.
- Excellent English communication skills and strong numeracy abilities.
- Technical education in Hospitality Management is preferred.
Required skills
- Basic wine knowledge.
