About the role
Amentum is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support a unique U.S. Navy program on the remote island of Diego Garcia. The role involves a variety of warehousing duties, requiring knowledge of storage plans, shipping procedures, and safe operation of warehouse equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Verify all items being received and shipped, noting discrepancies and damages.
- Store, stack, and palletize materials, maintaining accurate shipping logs.
- Requisition and store shipping supplies, file paperwork per procedures, and maintain related records.
Required profile
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid passport (minimum one year) and ability to travel internationally.
- Pass contract medical and security requirements for deployment.
- Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English.
Required skills
- Familiarity with proper packaging methods and interpreting visual aids for packaging requirements.
