Sight and Sound Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Sight and Sound Supervisor to support a unique U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role oversees live event audio‑visual operations, ensuring high‑quality sound and lighting for ceremonies, presentations and other events.

Key responsibilities

• Operate live sound mixing and configure lighting and sound systems to produce high‑quality audio‑visual effects.
• Maintain, repair, calibrate and perform routine inspections of sight and sound equipment.
• Detect and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to avoid event disruptions.
• Collaborate with event coordinators and clients to meet specific AV requirements.
• Train junior staff on AV operational techniques and ensure all equipment is tested before, during and after events.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience in live sound mixing, AV system maintenance and lighting configuration.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift and position heavy equipment.
• Valid passport, ability to obtain visas and pass contract medical requirements.
• Effective communication, problem‑solving and attention to detail.
