SmartFleet Engineering Trainee

About the role

The SmartFleet Engineering Trainee will support the SmartFleet department in analysing asset condition and performance data, helping to generate actionable insights for on‑site maintenance actions. This role offers hands‑on experience in predictive maintenance and data‑driven decision making within a dynamic engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, categorize, and maintain digital documents across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Perform detailed data entry and updates in internal databases with high attention to detail.
• Assist in managing internal files, safeguarding data integrity, security, and confidentiality.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret equipment data to support predictive maintenance analysis and report preparation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline processes and track project‑related documentation.
• Provide timely follow‑ups and status updates for registered machines.
• Undertake any other related duties as required.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Data‑driven mindset with interest in statistical analysis and problem‑solving.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a continuously evolving business environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
