Software Developer Intern - 6 Months (October Start)

About the role

Dayforce is seeking a motivated Software Developer Intern for a six‑month placement starting in late October 2026 at its Mauritius office. You will work closely with experienced engineers, gaining hands‑on experience in designing, coding, and testing software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and test software applications.
• Assist in coding, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth functionality.
• Participate in enhancing existing software products and implementing best practices.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and deliver quality results.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong academic performance in programming, algorithms, data structures and related courses.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence with demonstrable AI‑related project experience.

Required skills

• Programming languages: C#, Java, C++, Python, JavaScript.
• Web development basics: HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks.
