Software Engineer I

About the role

Checkout.com is looking for a Software Engineer I to join its Issuing team. You will help build next‑generation payment technologies that power millions of transactions worldwide, working on products that enable merchants to issue payment cards and create innovative payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions for the Issuing product line.
• Lead project priorities, deadlines and deliverables while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Contribute to event‑driven micro‑services architecture hosted on AWS.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of the platform.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in .NET C# with solid understanding of software development principles.
• Experience or strong interest in backend or full‑stack development.
