Software QA Engineer

About the role

The Software QA Engineer will join the QA team to ensure that software releases meet quality standards and client expectations. Reporting to the QA Lead, you will design, execute and maintain test plans, identify defects and support the debugging process throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and design documents and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify system requirements.
• Create detailed, well‑structured test plans and test cases.
• Design, develop and run automation scripts using the appropriate tools.
• Log, track and verify bugs, and perform regression testing after fixes.
• Monitor quality metrics such as test execution progress, defect density and open defect counts.
• Stay updated on new testing tools, strategies and Agile governance practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of ICT concepts and ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
