Steward Attendant – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Steward Attendant ensures the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene within the culinary and food‑and‑beverage areas of our luxury resort. Working closely with the kitchen team, you will maintain equipment, utensils and workspaces to Four Seasons standards, supporting smooth service for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes and work surfaces in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist the culinary team with basic cleaning and organization during peak periods.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Support setup and breakdown for banquet events and staff meals.
• Participate in cross‑departmental training and occasional back‑up duties as required.

Required profile

• Reliable, detail‑oriented and physically fit.
• Ability to stand, walk and work for up to 10 hours per shift.
• Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 20 kg and performing frequent bending, reaching, pushing and pulling.
• Willingness to work in hot kitchen environments.
• Mauritian nationality as specified.

Required skills

• Knowledge of health and safety standards for food service.
• Experience operating commercial kitchen cleaning equipment.
