System Engineer – Cross Architecture

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer – Cross Architecture to provide technical pre‑sales support across the Cisco portfolio. You will work closely with sales teams, channel partners, system integrators, and Cisco account teams to design integrated, end‑to‑end solutions that meet customer business and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical pre‑sales support for Cisco Enterprise Networking, Security, Collaboration, Data Center, and Hybrid Cloud solutions.
• Engage with channel partners, system integrators, and enterprise customers to capture business and technical needs.
• Design end‑to‑end solution architectures that integrate multiple Cisco technologies.
• Prepare solution designs, Bills of Materials, technical proposals, Statements of Work, and responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, workshops, and Proof‑of‑Concept engagements.
• Recommend appropriate Cisco architectures, licensing models, and subscription options.
• Collaborate with Cisco account teams and internal sales to support strategic opportunities.
• Conduct partner enablement sessions, technical training, and architecture workshops.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Cisco product releases, competitive technologies, and industry best practices.
• Mentor junior pre‑sales engineers and contribute to internal technical capability development.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge across multiple Cisco technology architectures, including networking, security, collaboration, data‑center, and cloud.
• Good understanding of solution integration across these domains.
• Familiarity with Cisco licensing models, Enterprise Agreements, Smart Licensing, and subscription offerings.
• Experience preparing technical proposals, architecture documents, BoMs, and solution presentations.
• Excellent customer‑facing, presentation, and communication skills.
