Team Leader - Accounting

About the role

AraCore Consulting is seeking a full‑time Team Leader – Accounting to join its office in Sodnac, Quatre Bornes. The role involves leading an accounting team responsible for routine accounting, MRA and CBRD filings, and ensuring compliance with internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Allocate daily workloads and monitor task completion.
• Oversee preparation and filing of MRA and CBRD reports.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company procedures.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.

Required profile

• Minimum ACCA Level 2 qualification (Level 3 is an advantage).
• At least 5 years of experience in an accounting‑related role.
• Strong accounting and mathematics abilities.
• Excellent reasoning skills and self‑motivation.
• Fluent in Kreol and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for accounting tasks (plus).

What we offer

• Salary range between Rs 30,000 and Rs 50,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
• Full‑time, on‑site position in Quatre Bornes, Mauritius.
• Working hours: Monday‑Friday 08:00‑16:15, Saturday 09:00‑13:00.
