Team Leader – Sourcing & Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a Team Leader for Sourcing & Procurement within our Finance SBU. You will oversee procurement operations, strategic sourcing, category management and contract governance to ensure cost‑effective, compliant acquisition of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement activities across the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) lifecycle, ensuring compliance and value‑driven service delivery.
• Provide operational leadership to support business requirements and enhance stakeholder experience.
• Drive sourcing initiatives, category management and commercial negotiations to optimise cost and mitigate risk.
• Partner with Business Units, Legal, Compliance, Risk and other stakeholders to ensure robust contract governance.
• Oversee supplier onboarding, due diligence, performance management and third‑party risk assessments.
• Foster strong supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement and value creation.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements and ethical sourcing standards.
• Support audit readiness and manage procurement risks and policy exceptions.
• Leverage procurement systems and reporting tools to monitor performance and enhance spend visibility.
• Lead, coach and develop procurement team members, promoting a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, contract management or supplier governance within banking, financial services or similarly regulated sectors.
• Proven experience leading, managing and developing procurement or sourcing teams.

Required skills

• Experience with Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) systems and procurement reporting tools.
