Technical Lead – Business Systems & ERP

About the role

We are a Main Market LSE‑listed mining services company expanding its footprint across the globe. We are seeking a dedicated Technical Lead to own the architecture, performance, and integrity of our business systems, with a primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the technical architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related platforms, ensuring alignment with business, data, and IT strategies.
• Collaborate with ICT, BI, and infrastructure teams to design secure, scalable, and reliable environments and integrations.
• Lead the operation, performance, and support of D365 environments, managing releases, issue resolution, and system stability across multiple sites.
• Oversee integrations between ERP, operational systems, data platforms, and corporate tools to guarantee reliable data flow and reporting.
• Mentor developers and technical specialists, strengthening internal capabilities.
• Manage relationships with Microsoft and external partners to deliver enhancements and maintain architectural consistency.
• Ensure compliance with governance, cybersecurity, and data management requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering technical solutions with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in asset‑intensive industries such as mining, heavy engineering, or similar.
• Strong background in ERP architecture, integrations, data engineering, and cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Proven ability to work closely with BI, ICT infrastructure, and external technology partners.
• Deep understanding of D365 technical architecture, integration frameworks, and data structures.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills in operationally critical environments.
