Training Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading training institution, is looking for a results‑driven, ambitious and experienced Training Manager. You will drive sales, build lasting client relationships and ensure every programme we deliver is fully compliant and funding‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow training revenue and meet agreed targets.
• Conduct training needs analyses with clients and design tailored in‑house and public programmes.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotations and tenders, and negotiate to close deals.
• Act as the organisation's lead expert on MQA and HRDC regulations, procedures and deadlines.
• Manage MQA approval of training programmes and trainers, and maintain the institution's registration and compliance.
• Oversee the full HRDC grant process, including G1 and G3 refund applications, documentation and follow‑up.
• Plan, schedule and oversee the delivery of training programmes and events to a high standard.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications and experience in the training / Learning & Development industry.
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English and French.
