TypeScript Developer - Test Automation Focus

About the role

Deloitte's Digital Factory is seeking a proactive TypeScript Developer with a strong focus on test automation. You will join a multidisciplinary team that builds and manages digital solutions for the financial sector, ensuring high‑quality releases through automated testing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Playwright framework and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with developers to build robust applications in TypeScript/JavaScript following best practices.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback on code quality.
• Identify, document and track defects, working closely with DevOps, business and development teams.
• Analyse quality metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Perform performance, load and stress testing using tools such as JMeter.
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings to understand requirements and deliver high‑quality software.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript for test automation.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive learning attitude.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and testing approaches.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
