About the role
International Distillers Mauritius is looking for an energetic, dependable and adaptable Vehicle Assistant to join its distribution team. The role works closely with the driver to support the safe and efficient movement of goods.
Key responsibilities
- Loading and unloading materials carried by the vehicle
- Ensuring the safety and security of all cargo
- Performing minor maintenance tasks so the vehicle runs smoothly
- Assisting the driver in manoeuvring the vehicle safely
Required profile
- Minimum CPE or equivalent education
- Detail-oriented, reliable and physically fit, comfortable with lifting and carrying
- Team player who works well with the driver and crew
- Safety-first attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and schedules
