Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager

About the role

Vaulbert is looking for a strong, hands‑on Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager to lead and strengthen our operational execution. As the business grows, the role will manage a fast‑paced FMCG environment with high stock movements and demanding customer service expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Overall management of warehouse and logistics operations
• Improving OTIF / service level performance
• Ensuring strong physical vs ERP inventory accuracy
• Implementing and maintaining proper warehouse locations and stock controls
• Improving receiving, put‑away, picking and dispatch processes
• Establishing effective cycle‑counting procedures
• Managing FEFO, near‑expiry and ageing inventory
• Reducing stock discrepancies, losses, damages and inventory adjustments
• Improving picking accuracy and warehouse productivity
• Coordinating dispatch and delivery execution
• Developing and enforcing warehouse SOPs
• Managing, developing and holding operational teams accountable

Required profile

• Proven experience in FMCG, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, retail distribution or another high‑volume environment
• Strong warehouse and logistics operations experience
• Experience managing a large number of SKUs
• Good knowledge of ERP and/or warehouse‑management systems
• Strong understanding of stock accuracy, cycle counting, FEFO and expiry management
• Strong people‑management and leadership skills
• A structured, process‑driven and hands‑on management style
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
• Ability to work closely with Sales, Finance, Procurement and Category/Marketing teams
