About the role
We are seeking an Accounting Associate to join our finance team, supporting management accounts, financial statements and tax compliance for our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts on a monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc basis after completing bookkeeping.
- Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for audit and statutory filing.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
- Prepare tax computations in line with Mauritius Income Tax Laws.
- Maintain overall responsibility for client relationships, handling inquiries and attending meetings.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of accounting work experience.
- ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong time‑management and organisational abilities to meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work extra hours when required.
- Good interpersonal communication and a team‑player attitude.
