Associate Manager

About the role

The Associate Manager will lead a small team to deliver high‑quality management and statutory reporting for fund administration clients. You will ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory obligations and internal service level agreements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities of team members to meet client commitments, SLAs and internal policies.
• Oversee planning, coordination and completion of management and statutory reporting for assigned structures.
• Review bookkeeping, monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts, and prepare interim and annual statutory financial statements.
• Liaise with clients, auditors and regulators to facilitate audits, tax filings and regulatory surveys.
• Prepare and present KPI dashboards, reports and management presentations.
• Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues and complaints in a timely manner.
• Support implementation of new processes and drive automation and process‑improvement ideas.
• Maintain internal databases and client records in line with policy.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in drafting and reviewing management accounts and financial statements under IFRS.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of IFRS developments and regulatory reporting regimes.
• Proven ability to motivate, coach and mentor a small team.
• Experience coordinating with auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Team‑player with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
