Associate Product Manager

About the role

The Associate Product Manager will work as an individual contributor within Dayforce’s Unified Payroll team, translating product vision into actionable user stories for Agile Scrum teams. This role collaborates closely with engineering, QA, UX and business stakeholders to deliver features that improve the global HCM platform.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product vision and epics into user stories for Agile Scrum delivery.
• Act as user champion, aligning development activities with business goals and priorities.
• Refine and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with strategic product managers.
• Work daily with engineering in an Agile Scrum framework, clarifying requirements and balancing business and technical needs.
• Participate in all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Maintain deep empathy for target personas and ensure the team shares this understanding.
• Provide product demos and act as subject‑matter expert during launch phases.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience managing projects and working closely with engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional groups.
• Proactive, self‑motivated attitude with a go‑get‑it mindset.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving capabilities.
