Associate Product Manager – Product Management

About the role

Dayforce is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join its product team. In this individual contributor role you will translate product vision into actionable user stories, work closely with Agile Scrum teams, and act as the voice of the user throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Convert product vision and epics into detailed user stories for Agile Scrum delivery.
• Champion user needs and align development activities with business goals.
• Partner with Unified Payroll strategic product managers to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
• Collaborate daily with engineering, clarifying requirements and balancing business and technical constraints.
• Participate in all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain deep empathy for target personas and ensure the team shares this understanding.
• Provide product demos and act as subject‑matter expert during launch phases.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience managing projects in close partnership with engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Proactive, team‑oriented attitude with a go‑get‑it mindset.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving capabilities and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
