Bar Waiter

About the role

The Bar Waiter delivers exceptional beverage and food service to guests in the bar and lounge areas of One&Only Le Saint Géran. You will create a warm, professional atmosphere, anticipate guest needs, and ensure every visit is memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service at all times.
• Present beverage and food menus, make recommendations, and take accurate orders.
• Serve drinks, cocktails, wines, spirits, and food items according to service standards.
• Prepare tables, bar seating, and service stations before opening; maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently, assist with stock replenishment, glassware polishing, and inventory control.
• Follow cash handling and billing procedures accurately and comply with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Verify legal drinking age, handle guest complaints professionally, and maintain product knowledge of beverages and promotions.

Required profile

• Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Waiter, Bar Waiter, or similar hospitality role.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Hospitality certification is an asset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of beverages, cocktails, wines, and bar service procedures.
• Cash handling.
• Inventory control.
