BCS Watchstander / DDC Technician

About the role

The BCS Watchstander / DDC Technician will operate and maintain the Building Control System (BCS) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) for a critical U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The position provides 24/7 monitoring and control of commodity production, utilities, and related systems throughout the contract period.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain BCS and DDC platforms to manage HVAC, lighting, utilities, and production processes.
• Provide continuous 24/7 watchstanding, monitoring alarms and system alerts, and executing corrective actions.
• Perform routine diagnostics, inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment calibration.
• Maintain detailed logs of system performance, incidents, and resolutions.
• Support integration and troubleshooting of new equipment or system upgrades.
• Collaborate on energy‑efficiency initiatives and recommend performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry, government, and military standards.
• Assist in training personnel and support emergency response procedures.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience operating, maintaining, and repairing Building Control Systems or Direct Digital Controls.
• Hands‑on experience in industrial, commercial, or government facility monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on control systems and associated mechanical equipment.
