Chef de Partie – Luxury Resort Cuisine

About the role

Four Seasons is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at its secluded resort on the east coast of Mauritius. The successful candidate will work in a high‑volume, luxury environment, preparing a range of Mauritian and international dishes while upholding the brand’s standards of quality and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare dishes and support the kitchen team throughout service.
• Maintain consistency and high quality of all food produced.
• Assist the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs in daily operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and strict food‑safety standards at all times.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff when required.
• Control wastage and adhere to portion standards.
• Organise and complete mise en place on schedule.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel or high‑volume restaurant.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive attitude, teamwork spirit and reliability.
• Knowledge of hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Passion for authentic cuisine and presentation.
