Cluster Sales, Events & Hosting Manager

About the role

Sunlife, a leading hospitality group in the Indian Ocean, is looking for an experienced Cluster Sales, Events & Hosting Manager to drive revenue growth and oversee the events strategy across its West Coast resorts, Sugar Beach and La Pirogue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a local corporate sales and events strategy for both resorts to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Lead, coach and inspire the Sales & Events team to deliver high performance and guest satisfaction.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, wedding and social events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel partners, event planners and corporate clients.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing, Operations and F&B teams to optimise commercial performance.
• Oversee planning, coordination and execution of events from enquiry through post‑event follow‑up.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and regular performance reports, ensuring KPI achievement.
• Represent the resorts at networking events and client engagements as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hotel sales experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in driving sales performance and managing events within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; French is an advantage.
