About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Data Privacy Consultant to support our line of business in ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. You will work in a dynamic, global environment, advising on personal data processing and helping to embed privacy by design across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Inform and advise business units on compliance with personal data processing requirements.
- Monitor adherence to local data protection provisions, deliver awareness‑raising and training.
- Guide and review Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs).
- Manage regulatory monitoring, advisory services, and audit oversight within the Allianz Data Protection framework.
- Coordinate harmonised procedures, tools, and governance practices for data protection.
- Conduct vendor privacy screenings and privacy health checks, providing remediation recommendations.
- Identify and analyse data protection risks, perform risk assessments, and align requirements with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain standards, policies, and training programs for executives and privacy champions.
- Support the Regional DPO with reporting, data subject rights inquiries, breach notifications, and investigations.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Keen eye for detail and excellent organizational abilities.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
