Digital Lead

About the role

The Digital Lead will steer the digital design, web and creative teams across Publicis Production EMEA Hub. Acting as a functional authority and strategic partner, the role ensures that digital outputs meet the company’s vision, technical standards and scalability goals while delivering high-quality client experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Define, standardise and evolve digital design systems, technical frameworks, development standards and quality benchmarks.
• Provide governance, coaching and escalation support for digital designers, web designers and creative engineers across multiple client ecosystems.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex, high‑risk or high‑visibility digital deliveries.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on experience quality, performance, accessibility and technical excellence.
• Support department managers in recruitment, onboarding and performance evaluation of digital talent.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing from senior practitioners and global hubs to align local teams with group standards.
• Define competency matrices, growth paths and role frameworks for digital disciplines.
• Design and deliver training programmes, onboarding frameworks and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in digital design, web or creative environments.
• Strong client‑facing orientation with ability to manage expectations and deliver robust solutions.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills to guide multidisciplinary teams.
• Strategic mindset aligned with company vision and digital transformation goals.
