About the role

Amentum is looking for a reliable Dishwasher to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role ensures that all dining ware, utensils, and cookware are clean, sanitized, and ready for service, adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate scullery machines according to manufacturer procedures and safety guidelines.
• Monitor and record washing cycle temperatures, maintaining accurate logs for review.
• Perform manual washing of cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools when required.
• Store cleaned items in designated locations to keep the kitchen organized.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of washing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with NAVSUP sanitation and temperature guidelines and contract standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of experience in food service or sanitation, including both machine and manual washing.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to follow operating procedures and safety precautions.
• Must obtain and maintain required facility credentials/authorization.
