Entry-Level Sustainability Associate

About the role

Join PwC’s Sustainability team as an entry‑level Associate or Administrator and help organisations embed sustainability into their core strategies. You will work alongside experienced consultants on real client projects, gaining exposure to sustainability regulations, market trends and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support sustainability engagements for a variety of clients.
• Research sustainability trends, regulations and market developments.
• Assist with materiality assessment projects.
• Gather, analyse and interpret sustainability‑related data.
• Prepare reports, presentations and other client deliverables.
• Contribute to the development of sustainability strategies and initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the firm.
• Continuously build knowledge of sustainability topics and business challenges.

Required profile

• HSC school leaver with good A‑Levels (Administrator level) or a bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance or a related field (Associate level).
• Strong interest in sustainability and responsible business practices.
• Analytical and research aptitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
