Finance Associate – Accounting & Reporting

About the role

The Finance Associate will support a portfolio of entities by maintaining accurate accounting records and preparing financial statements in line with IFRS. You will work closely with internal teams and external auditors to ensure timely and compliant reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records for assigned entities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts.
• Produce annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Process journals, maintain the general ledger and perform bank, balance‑sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Coordinate year‑end and periodic closing activities and liaise with external auditors.
• Prepare tax computations and support tax return filings.
• Handle statutory filings with relevant authorities where applicable.
• Monitor reporting deadlines to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accounting documentation and ensure compliance with policies, IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial information to management and clients and assist with ad‑hoc accounting assignments.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• ACC A/ACA/CPA qualification (completed or in progress) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
