Fund Accountant

About the role

The Fund Accountant will support Apex Group’s global fund administration business by preparing and reviewing key financial reports for private equity and hedge fund clients. You will work closely with auditors, transfer agents and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of fund performance data.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for private equity and hedge funds on the required frequency.
• Compile monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for client funds.
• Liaise with external auditors to facilitate timely audit completion.
• Assist with transfer agency transactions as needed.
• Maintain overall client relationships, respond to inquiries and attend client meetings.

Required profile

• Approximately two years of accounting experience; fund industry experience is a plus.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or holding an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities to meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, hard‑working attitude with willingness to put in extra hours when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue.
