Fund Accountant

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its global fund administration team. You will be responsible for preparing NAVs, reconciling cash and positions, and supporting audit processes for hedge‑fund clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly NAVs for hedge‑fund clients.
• Perform cash, position and market‑value reconciliations and resolve breaks.
• Review portfolio pricing, corporate actions and ensure accurate booking.
• Reconcile dividends and interest with broker reports.
• Accrue and amortise management fees, financing accruals and other non‑security fees.
• Process non‑automated transactions, including OTC derivatives and related cash movements.
• Communicate NAV estimates, queries and ad‑hoc requests to clients.
• Book capital activities and support audit preparation and reviews.
• Coordinate with internal teams, auditors and client service managers.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the fund industry.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work extra hours when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with fund accounting software (any).
