About the role
The Group Compliance Officer will join Amicorp's central compliance and risk team, ensuring the implementation of the group’s compliance strategy while balancing commercial interests. This senior‑level position is responsible for overseeing client onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and regulatory adherence across offices without a local compliance function.
Key responsibilities
- Drive proactive risk identification during client onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
- Ensure efficient client onboarding within agreed response times.
- Evaluate new business risks and their impact on strategy, risk appetite, and regulatory compliance.
- Support local management teams in defining risk appetite, tolerances, and limits.
- Provide expert guidance, oversight, and independent challenge on compliance matters.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess relevance to the business.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Head to implement high‑level strategic compliance initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven compliance experience in financial, accounting, trust or fiduciary services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead compliance efforts for multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks.
- Experience in client onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory developments.
