Human Resources Assistant – Learning & Development

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Human Resources Assistant to support the full spectrum of HR operations, with a strong focus on Learning & Development. You will coordinate training initiatives, manage HRDC refund processes, and collaborate with internal stakeholders, the EMEA Hub, and external training providers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the annual training plan aligned with business needs and EMEA Hub priorities.
• Identify training needs, build skills matrices, and design internal and external learning programs.
• Coordinate all training logistics, including venues, trainers, materials, attendance tracking and certification records.
• Manage relationships with external training providers and ensure proper documentation of all training activities.
• Handle HRDC processes such as grant applications, claims submissions and follow‑up for refunds.
• Coordinate Youth Employment Programme (YEP) processes with the Ministry of Labour, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
• Support the design and coordination of internship and graduate programmes.
• Provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and expatriate processes for candidates relocating to Mauritius.

• Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with managers, external partners and government agencies.
• Strong communication skills in English.
