L1 Security Engineer – First Level Support

About the role

As an L1 Security Engineer you will deliver first‑level support to French and international customers, ensuring incidents are resolved quickly and security monitoring is proactive. You will work within a global team that provides consistent, sustainable solutions across Orange Business’s worldwide network.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1 support in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for security incidents.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve customer‑reported incidents.
• Perform proactive monitoring to identify and address potential security concerns.
• Collaborate with L2, L3 and Field Technical Support teams for escalations and resolutions.
• Manage customer communications, including call handling and case documentation.
• Maintain adherence to SLAs while working under varying levels of stress.

Required profile

• Valid CCNA certification.
• Solid understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Good knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP and POP3.
• Fluent in both French and English with strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast‑evolving cybersecurity landscape.
