About the role

Join Ocorian's Group Legal team as a Legal Counsel, providing commercially focused legal guidance across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to support growth, enhance client outcomes, and strengthen governance for a global financial services organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to deliver practical, commercial legal advice on a wide range of matters.
• Support strategic initiatives, transactions and cross‑border projects across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements that align with business objectives.
• Advise on corporate, commercial, regulatory, data‑protection and financial‑services issues.
• Collaborate with specialist teams to deliver client‑focused legal solutions.
• Contribute to the development of legal best practices and practical solutions.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience in corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.
• Proven ability to work across jurisdictions and manage cross‑border projects.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to influence business decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
