Payroll Administrator

About the role

Join PwC’s Tax Workforce team as a Payroll Administrator and support the delivery of high‑quality payroll services to a diverse client base. You will work closely with the payroll team to process data, prepare documentation and ensure compliance with internal procedures and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute timely payroll processing in line with the service delivery model for local and global engagements.
• Prepare and review payroll documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Respond to payroll‑related queries from clients and internal stakeholders with professionalism.
• Identify and propose innovative solutions to enhance payroll quality.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of payroll legislation and PwC’s internal policies.
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and other key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Professional, discreet and confidential handling of sensitive information.
• Willingness to learn payroll processes, statutory requirements and internal procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAGE VIP (advantageous).
