Pool & Beach Waiter

About the role

The Pool & Beach Waiter provides attentive table service in the pool and beach areas of Constance Le Chaland, a luxury resort on Mauritius' south‑eastern coast. You will ensure guests enjoy a seamless dining experience while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a clean mise en place, including table settings, plates, cutlery and linens.
• Transport food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to the service area efficiently and professionally.
• Serve guests according to established standards, answer menu questions, and relay any complaints to the Outlet Manager.
• Collect and deliver soiled dishes to the dish‑washing area and assist the Chef de Rang as needed.
• Set up buffet displays, assist the hostess with seating, and ensure the service station remains tidy.
• Handle silverware polishing requests and follow any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education; hospitality training or certificates are a plus.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role within a hotel or luxury resort.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Strong team spirit, active listening and clear communication in English.
