Senior Accountant, Fund Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant specialized in Fund Accounting to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance of financial statements, Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, and client deliverables. You will apply strong technical accounting expertise and deep knowledge of client requirements to support asset managers and drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate financial statements, NAV calculations, and client deliverables for accuracy.
• Apply accounting standards and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance with internal controls and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with Asset Managers and internal partners to resolve issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to preparers and team members, promoting best practices in fund accounting.
• Identify and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and client service outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fund accounting and financial statement preparation.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with asset managers and cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated mentorship or coaching experience within an accounting environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
