Senior Executive – Fund Accounting

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking a Senior Executive to lead fund accounting activities for Private Equity and Hybrid funds. You will be responsible for delivering accurate NAV, financial statements and client reporting while ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and sign‑off NAV and financials for Private Equity and Hybrid funds, including journal entries and monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
• Prepare investor notices, process payments, and manage capital call and distribution workflows.
• Handle migration of Hybrid and PERE funds from on‑shore locations, meeting SLA targets.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Maintain day‑to‑day client relationships and deliver required reports on a regular cadence.
• Liaise with on‑shore teams, clients and auditors to secure timely financial approvals.
• Onboard new funds onto Investran, Geneva and eFront platforms and manage conversions to eFront.
• Develop customized reports in Investran/eFront and respond to ad‑hoc client requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in PERE and Hybrid fund accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Experience with bank debt and loan instruments within private‑equity contexts.
