Senior Manual QA (AI-Augmented)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Manual Test Engineer who can leverage AI‑assisted tools to boost productivity and test coverage. The role involves close collaboration with developers, product owners, and analysts to ensure high‑quality software throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business, functional and technical requirements to create test strategies, plans, scenarios and cases.
• Participate in Three Amigos sessions to refine requirements and define acceptance criteria.
• Apply Risk‑Based Testing to prioritise test effort based on impact and risk.
• Design, execute and maintain manual tests for web, mobile, API and desktop applications.
• Use AI‑assisted tools for requirement analysis, test design and test case generation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, exploratory and UAT testing.
• Log, prioritise and track defects in Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools and verify fixes.
• Execute API tests with Postman and validate databases using SQL.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide test execution reports to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and continuously improve QA processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on manual software testing experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life‑cycle and Agile/Scrum.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
