Senior PMO – Call for Interest

About the role

Allianz Group is seeking a Senior PMO to support a variety of projects across IT transformation, regulatory, insurance, finance and operational excellence. The role will drive project delivery using best‑practice methodologies and ensure high‑quality reporting for stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project progress, including status, requirements, velocity, cost, budget, quality, risks and KPIs.
• Apply project‑management best practices to guide projects to successful completion.
• Prepare and present project artefacts, meeting documentation and executive summaries.
• Set up and maintain collaboration tools such as MS Teams and ensure access for all members.
• Prepare raw data for reporting, generate standard reports and develop new reporting templates.
• Conduct ad‑hoc research and present findings to the project team.
• Analyze customer needs and contribute innovative concepts.
• Lead project delivery, support junior team members and resolve conflicts.

Required profile

• Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, IT Service Management or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in project management or consulting, including steering and governance (agile and classic).
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in global teams and support junior colleagues.
• High motivation, proactive attitude and customer‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience with MS Project and Jira.
• Reporting tools, processes and template development.
