Supervisor – Fund Accounting

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking a Supervisor for Fund Accounting to lead daily workflow planning, NAV preparation and reconciliation activities for hedge‑fund clients. You will act as a key liaison between clients, internal teams and auditors, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of fund‑related deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and manage daily workflows for client deliverables within the team.
• Prepare and review daily/monthly NAVs, cash, position and market‑value reconciliations.
• Identify and resolve breaks, notifying clients and relationship managers as needed.
• Review portfolio pricing, corporate actions, dividends and interest reconciliations.
• Accrue and amortise management fees, financing charges and other non‑security fees.
• Process non‑automated transactions, including OTC derivatives and related cash movements.
• Book capital activities and finalize month‑end NAVs with investor‑level allocation reports.
• Support audit preparation, financial statement reviews and issue tracking.
• Participate in automation projects, work migrations and procedural changes.
• Coordinate with securities, pricing, reporting, investor services, auditors and client service managers to ensure SLA compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of fund accounting experience within an investment‑management or finance environment.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Strong understanding of NAV calculations, reconciliations and hedge‑fund operations.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination.
