Barista

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Barista to join the Food & Beverage team at One&Only Le Saint Géran, a 5‑star luxury resort in Mauritius. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting coffee, tea and other hot beverages to the highest standards, ensuring a warm and memorable experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all styles of coffee and tea in line with resort standards and recipes.
• Maintain and clean coffee machines, ensuring correct measurements, temperature and presentation.
• Suggest new coffee and tea menu items based on guest preferences.
• Handle guest payments and process transactions accurately.
• Order and stock supplies required for beverage service.
• Conduct monthly inventory checks and keep costs within budget.
• Support other F&B departments during service periods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5‑star hotel or upscale F&B environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused setting.
